Headphones....

For anybody that fancies trying some bone conductor headphones but doesn’t want the high price tag, I bought these just after Xmas at a sale price of £21. I’ve used them every run since and they are excellent. Usual full price is £31, but it seems to fluctuate on a daily basis....

Thanks for the tip Wenderwoo. I like the idea of those, as I always criticise 'the youth of today' for going everywhere unaware of what's happening with earphones jammed in their ears listening to that horrible music! (Then I go out for a run, doing the same thing - but with the volume turned down so I can hear traffic behind me!). I think I might treat myself to a pair as a treat when I reach a certain stage of the C25K adventure...

How do they sound?

On my recent holiday I was absolutely amazed by the number of people wearing apple AirPod style headphones the entire time as they go about their day. It’s still 1950 something here in New Zealand so we have quite a bit of catching up to do 😀

They sound ok to me, but I’m no expert in that department. I can clearly hear the music/podcast, and the c25k app when it kicks in, and they ping when my phone gets a notification, etc. Best ones I’ve ever had for my little ear holes, haha!

Yes, and you don’t have to ram them in your ears, and you can hear traffic etc, as long as the musics not turned up to high!

Just found the way to celebrate my graduation. Order placed. Ooh can't wait. They should arrive ready for my first consolidation run. I will feel safer as I can hear the traffic coming too.

OK, I've buckled, I just ordered mine for delivery tomorrow! (I just can't resist the temptation of buying gadgets, especially if they might help me on my quest from C25K!) This means I should have them here, charged set up ready for my start of W4 (if W3 R3 goes OK in the morning) on Saturday . I now have 3½ days to think of excuses that are not headphone related if that run turns into a practice!

I’ve been thinking of some since I watched a uTube video of a running expert with them. They were American so thought I’d get them here. No sign of them so plainly not shopping in the right shops! It’s all a mystery here 🙃. Heads too full of trainers and don’t get me going on runners socks - no I don’t want ones ( no shows) that will slide down inside my trainers 😠. Thank you for the link 😊
