Hiya... I did my first couch to 5k Sunday and yesterday walked 4.5 miles after work.... it’s day 2 of my C25K this evening.... this is where I start to wobble!!!! I finish work at 6pm & just want to have a shower & eat 😬

Feeling motivated right now so fingers crossed 👍🏼

Welcome, and very well done getting started. That’s 2 days of good healthy activity, and yesterday’s walk after work will be longer than any run for a long while, great job fitting that in. Get home, get changed and get out there... dinner always tastes better after a run! Have fun out there.

It is all about adjusting to a new routine. Your mind will make your body think it doesn't want to, but system override it, and then the foundations of the future are being laid.... well done on making the decision to do it :)

Welcome to the forum and the program.

The hardest runs are the first ones, ignore the later ones as your body and mind are prepared for those.

Try to keep you runs on set days, this will help ingrain running into your head and turn it into a habit.

Just take it slow and steady, set yourself realistic goals and work towards them, don't be afraid to treat yourself either but, again, be realistic with the treats. Eating a whole cheesecake may not be the best treat :)

I do love cheesecake but it has to be a good vanilla New York style baked one! Sorry, slightly off topic for a minute there.

Just relax, enjoy the runs and never be afraid to slow down to enable you to complete the runs.
