Thanks for all your support yesterday. It really helped.
I just finished week 1 run 2.
I must say I found it just as hard to get out of the door as yesterday as it was so blooming freezing. And because I hadn’t had a rest day my legs felt like lead. Feel better for doing it now.
Listening to Sam Fender got me into gear. I think I’m a little bit in love with him. Anyway, hit me with your best artists/tracks for running to please. 🎶🎶🎶

Great you've completed wk1r2. But please don't run on consecutive days you can cause injury that can stop you running. From now ALWAYS have a rest day between runs.
My favourite track at the moment is:-
The Weekend- Blinding Lights.
😊😊
There is lots of great reading here about running and why you should have rest days
I hear you re rest days but I’ve only got Thursday, Friday and Sundays to do this. Maybe I’ll go later on on Fridays to try and balance it out a bit. Or take hubby out with me in the dark evenings. 🤣
Hi there and very well done I think my Amazon music and playlist is my new best friend... dont think I could do it without lol. A favourite of mine is the killers 'all the things I have done'. Well done to you 🏃🏻♀️🎶
Music is such amazing runspo. It’s dangerous asking me. On Spotify I’ve got a really eclectic playlist now.
Currently I like Titanium-David Guetta, Santana -Smooth, Waiting for Love -Avicii and my all time fave Rihanna and We Found Love in a Hopeless Place. Sorry 😐
I replied today to TurnTheTide about why rest days are non negotiable. Take a look.
Regarding best songs. My favourite at the moment is Good to be Alive (Hallelujah) by Andy Grammer. It makes me want to dance, let alone run! A good beat for a slightly slower pace is Bad Moon Rising by Credence Clearwater Revival.
I’m using an album i found on Tidal, “30 running hits” I’m loving it! Insomnia by Faithless came on just when I needed to focus and get through 60 seconds of running, spooky!
Check my posts for Speedy60’s info about rest days, it makes sense of how rest days work, maybe you could stagger your runs on the days you have available to maximise the time between runs for your muscles to strengthen?
