When I started Couch 2 5K one of my aims was to try and make running a habit...it’s still early days but am getting there I think and have given quite a lot of thought to what makes it happen. Just being conscious of it has helped me, as well as having routine days/times to run (which I return to even if my schedule has meant a change one day or week). Would be great to hear any tips from others?
I found this video just posted on the BBC interesting and am going to seek out the book it mentions...
I try to run on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday for this very reason, plus it gives me the flexibility to change a little depending on what my work/personal life is throwing at me at that time.
Well done on establishing this new habit, long may it continue.
