Idk if anyone remembers as it was a while ago I posted, but I broke my toes in October and hadn't been able to run since. Six weeks passed and I was still hobbling as one toe clearly hadn't healed. Anyway, yesterday I decided to try again, pulled on my gear and went to the local park. To run 5k, I need to do just over six laps of the park. Yesterday I managed two, then decided not to push it and walked home.
This morning my toe is absolutely fine but my thighs are protesting, so I think I was right not to crack on for another lap.
I don't know what it was about yesterday that made me want to try again, but something pushed me to go out again and wow, I'm glad I did.
Next run Monday, and maybe this'll be the year I try a park run.
Thank you for the support
