Hills? You're running hills straight out of the traps? Respect to you. I ran the flattest route I could find until I graduated.

Don't worry about other people, within a week or two they'll be invisible to you.

Good luck ๐Ÿ‘

Well itโ€™s the way from where I am down to the beach then back up again ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ not massive hills but hilly enough for me who is sooo unfit lol ๐Ÿ˜† I hope all become invisible that would be ace! Thank you

Other people was one of the things that put me off, but then I thought they can always look the other way if they don't like the look of me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿƒ

Well done on your run, by the way ๐Ÿ˜‰

So tried but I do get so anxious about what others think! Iโ€™m hoping the feeling will pass in time. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

I always think it's a shame you cant see 'other people' slobbing out on the couch. They might not like it either.

Very true ๐Ÿ˜Š I shall try to think of that

Well done! Eventually you wonโ€™t care about others seeing you. Did my first run yesterday. Forgot how good it felt to be out running.

Fantastic. Really well done for taking the first steps on this great program. You'll find that this forum is the perfect running partner for help, advice and encouragement.

As for people seeing you. I used to be one of those people that looked at old people running, overweight and clearly unfit people running. And to be honest, its those people who shamed and embarrassed me into getting off my butt and motivated me to join them. So dont for one second think that they are all looking at you with negative thoughts. Far from it! :-)

Thanks itโ€™s tough as I got to the sea front it was full of people out for an afternoon stroll and I felt like all eyes were on me. Just paranoid hopefully Iโ€™ll feel more confident as I go ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š
