Parkrun volunteering

I put myself down for volunteering at Patkrun on Sat and had a lovely time. I wore lots of layers, wellies and gloves, and took my tambourine to cheer runners on with. I had a lovely time. It was a beautiful morning, slightly misty.

They said 'The bells, the bells' and grinned. Well one of them did. Front runners said nothing, all energy goes in to record making and breaking. They are FAST!

Well done Baddiethepirate. We were handing out finish tokens. Boy do the front runners put a lot of effort in! I thought one man was going to be sick over me! I obviously need to make more effort to get that sub 30 🤣🤣

The tambourine shaking does seem popular. I think It gives them something to aim for.
