51 Weeks in the Making!!

So yesterday I finally graduated after starting on January 1st!! February saw a calf muscle injury so started again in April which then saw an achilles tendonopathy in May at week 4. That took 5 months to heal and so it was back to week 3 in early November. Managed to skip week 8 and got there yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed the feeling even though my 30 minutes only got me to 4.8 kms. Going out on Christmas Day to do the full 5k!!

Just goes to show, don't give up, persevere with the injuries or set backs and you WILL get to the end!!

Bob

Wow what a journey you’ve had. Congratulations on graduating. You are so close to that 5k, I too did my first 5k on the run immediately after graduation- gives just a great a sense of achievement, I’m sure it will be even more special on Christmas Day. Merry Christmas and a happy healthy 2020
