Excellent, really well done. That's a nice one to get under your belt!

It does not matter at all if you run for 20 minutes on a treadmill at the gym, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people, both outside and on the treadmill with the interval walks and runs.

Thanks - do you recommend 1 day rest or more between jogs?

The number 1 rule with C25K is to NEVER run on consecutive days, you must take at least one day off between runs, try and keep to the same 3 days a week, that way you will have at sometime two non running days, you can do some other exercises on those days.

Well done w5r3 is a biggie!! ( apparently week 4 is harder but it’s the shock of a 20 min run for me!!) 😁👍

Congratulations on completing that run! What I find easiest is to run Mon, Wed and Friday. That way I get a days rest between each run and 2 days between each week. Works for me 😊

Well done, w5d3 is a good confidence builder. Be cautious with week 6 though, I thought the intervals would be so easy after the 20min run but they were tough... slow and slow again. I’m the same, it’s a mental battle for me also.

Next run w7d3. I only get out twice a week so is taking me a while to get through the programme. But, the extra rest days work for me! And, I think I’m enjoying it now!!
