On week 6 and my and an old hip injury had been given me niggles, so I had been leaving it longer between runs. My last run was nearly 2 weeks ago as the niggle had turned into a real ache when putting weight on that side. It's beginning to feel stronger again and hopefully I'll be able to run again soon. But as it's been so long since my last run should I try and pick up from where I left off? Or go back a few weeks? Or even start again?

Should I Start Again from Scratch?
As stated in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
you lose next to no condition in the first two weeks of running.
Make sure you are well recovered before continuing and if it persists then get it checked out by a medical professional.
Take care
Just read it, thank you. Looks like I'll be dropping back a week as I will need a bit more recovery time but I'm so determined to do this. I've had surgery in both hips and physio for a year. I was advised to accept what my body was capable of and to avoid anything high impact. That was 7 years ago. I'm much stronger now. I WILL do this.
Hi, slow down and run shorter times to build up strength in that hip, ave a look at strength and flex, there are some good exercises to help that hip
Good luck and have fun
