No issues at all, second running segment was slower than the first but no problem. Looking forward to the next one and beyond! This program is amazing, when I think back to week one and how long those 60 second runs seemed and compare it to what Iβm achieving now itβs truly astonishing. If I can do this any one can do this π
W5R2 in the bag π: No issues at all, second... - Couch to 5K

So glad youβre enjoying c25k and well done for completing w5r2πJust remember to drink lots of water and take it steady for your next run. Itβs amazing how quickly this running malarkey becomes addictive π
We get called runners on week 6 Rig π Amazing thought π
Great running Rigpig. Being slower is good and will get you through the longer runs. Well done you π
Well done! Keep on truckinβ!
So, is it the programme that's amazing, or you?πππ
Well done you. The program is amazing but you also have to approach it with a bit of grit and determination. Happy running. πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Brilliant, well done. I think you'll enjoy run 3 too!
Tomorrow is week 5 run 3. I cannot believe I will manage a straight 20 min run seems a huge leap from 2 x 8 mins !!
Still 5 weeks ago at the age of 61 was the first time I have βrunβ so anything is a bonus ... we will give it our best shot !!
Im exactly the same, couldnt run to catch a bus 5 weeks ago let alone a minute without struggling. Wk5 run 3 will be happening tomorrow hmmmm 20mins non stop sounds terrifying to me but so did 8mins.
Just keep smiling and running I say, well done and good luck
Well done! I'm also at exactly the same point so 20 mins tomorrow! I usually run at our nearest park, but as it is rather hilly I'm going to a park a bit further away which is totally flat, to hopefully give me a better chance!
Might just as well run horizontally rather than up and down. No extra points for altitude. I found that a different route worked wonders, even if it was only the usual one backwards. Enjoy your flatter run. Up and down is good for building endurance - later. Twenty minutes gives your breath chance to sort it self out as you jog along at conversational speed. Now you are getting quite good at this - you runner you!
