That first run...

The run you dread, the run that tells you how far you have aged since you were 6 yes old and literally ran everywhere. You can tell from my face how much I enjoyed it...lol

Believe it or not the end of this first run is my favourite feeling...even though I have stopped and started running more times than I care to remember. These endorphins that surge as I do my 5 min cool down remind me why I keep coming back and how enormously capable the human body is.

Thank you Sarah Millican for your chirpy encouragement all the way round .....and finally...does anyone know an app that can fix my screaming legs tomorrow morning?..:)

Well done you 👏

I do believe it - there's nothing quite like coming back from a run and feeling you could take on the world.

Keep going and posting. Look forward to reading your journey.

Congratulations on completing the hardest run of the program! If you do a few light stretches and move around your legs shouldn't be too bad.

Again, well done on completing the first run, keep posting your progress, we're a nice bunch on here and will provide advice and motivation where required.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes links to stretches to do immediately after every run.

Enjoy your journey.

Congratulations on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1 and welcome to the forum, not sure about the expression on your face, I am sure you did enjoy it, just take all the runs slowly, drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 1, remember that you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to. 😊 🏃🏾

Well done for starting. I didnt believe it when people said that the first run is the hardest. But I'm now on week 5 and, it still remains the hardest.

You're legs might be a little stiff after this run, and I carried some of that into run2, but you'll be amazed at how much quicker you recover from R2.

Good luck and keep posting.
