Struggling.

Last week I completed w5. I couldn’t believe I jogged for 20 minutes. It was tough. This week on w6 day 2 I really struggled to jog 10 minutes having to slow down for a minute. Now I’m doubting the next jog of 25 minutes. Should I start w5 again?

Nope, don't worry, W6 is tough! But you completed the run, you're doing fine. Don't let it get to you, the intervals mess with your head after the euphoria of W5R3.

Keep it up, you're doing great 👍🏻😁

Well done on struggling through, but you answered your own question.

If you are struggling you are going too fast.

The recommended pace for C25k is one at which you can speak clear ungasping sentences as you run, as explained in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Slow down to the pace that builds stamina and increases enjoyment and you will no longer struggle.

You can do this.

Relax, believe in yourself and the plan. Slow right down, nothing to be ashamed about. We all slow down to reach particular goals no matter where we are in this plan or future plans. Enjoy

Just as other comments slow down more and you will get there, 25 minutes is the same length of time whether you run fast or slow so go slow and enjoy

Thank you so much everyone for your encouragement, and kind words, just now I have jogged for 25 minutes. I slowed down a little and it was more manageable. Xx
