3 runs in 7 days ?

How important is it to complete the three runs in a seven day week ? I've done two this week but I'm working Friday to Monday so won't be able to complete week one until the earliest next Tuesday on day eight.

If you can only really manage 2, just do 2. 3 is the optimum number but we all need to fit them around life in general.

You may find a slightly slower progression towards overall fitness and they might feel a little more difficult but it's more important that you not put too much pressure on yourself. 👍🏻

Thanks, thinking of trying to fit it in at work over the weekend just because I'm keen and 6 days until next Tuesday seems too long.

Hi, well done on starting out, week 1 took me 9 days to complete as I couldn’t walk for 3 days after run 1. Don’t think it’s too important, I’m no expert though.

If you can't fit 3 runs in , in 7 days that's ok . Fit them in when possible 😊

Don't worry about it, it never worries me. In fact, there have been occasions when the extra rest days have put a surprising spring in my step.

An extra few days rest will give you fresh legs next time out have fun and run with a smile

To complete this plan it has to be doable- if you cant do 3 runs dont worry but you MUST have rest days between runs otherwise you risk injury. Happy running

Try to aim for three runs per week but life gets in the way sometimes.

Enjoy your journey.

I would try to follow the programme. I am on week 8 now and it really helps. I was a complete non runner. Running for one minute was really hard when I started

I think you have to take the view that you in this for the long haul. So if there is the occasional week when you can only run twice that really doesn't matter as long as you keep turning up! Life is complicated and sometimes it is easier to find the time than others but as long as you keep your next run in mind it really doesn't matter if you have to wait a little!

Thanks for all the feedback, since I ran last Wednesday I worked the weekend and now have a cold, so I think this is going to take me longer but I'm still keen, will probably redo the first week again ?? What do we think ??
