Hi peeps...thrid time of doing this c25k program..... operations have stopped me and then gone back to c25k. This time my cardio is still decent after last operation and I've completed week 1.. Are people doing three runs every 7 days with at least one days rest in between....or is anyone just running every second day and working through the "weeks"?
Cheers!

I generally do Monday, Wednesday, Friday and have weekends off, and I stuck to this rigidly through weeks 1 to 9. I found that doing this and making C25K the number 1 priority in my diary really helped. Nowadays I still make sure I run 3 times a week with rest days, but I'm a bit more flexible about which days.
I was doing every other day then it got really hot and I had like 3 rest days, did a run then had another 2 rest days before my next run. Will probs go back to every other day if I can as it works best for me, but yeah I'd say whatever works best and don't get put off if you do have a bigger break at some point.
I started doing every other day until about "week" 6.... Then changed up my routine and ran Mon weds Fri, which I found easier to plan around so I'll stick to that now I'm a bonafide graduate 😂
I'm doing Wednesday, Sunday, and Friday - it fits with work and gives me my rest days. Do what suits you. Well done for trying again (this is my 2nd attempt after breaking my foot and a few toes)
I did the 3 runs a week with a day of cycling on the 4th day but as I’ve got to the latter stages of the programme, I’m on w8r2 I’m needing to have 2 rest days sometimes depending on how the old legs feel. It’s entirely upto you to fit it around your lifestyle. X
I run mon, wed and fri and have the weekend off, works for me, but then again I normally fit in a round of golf at the weekend so keep the legs moving, try and see what works best for you.
Listen to your body.Mine has had quite a bit to say recently. I took a week off last week as I didn't fancy running down fast country lanes. Hopefully back to 3x a week (ish) from tomorrow. The main aim for me is to see the weight coming down and visceral fat reducing. That took a back seat last week.. back to the grindstone....
