Ok so it went well although my ankles were hurting to start with and I did do warm up and down. Good start and looking forward to next run!

Congratulations on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1 and welcome to the forum, just take all the runs slowly, drink plenty of water the day before you run and just before you run to avoid dehydration, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 1 🏃🏾👍

Well done 💪🏼

Keep going! It’s addictive and you will not look back! Don’t let the weather bother you, take an extra day of you need, most of all enjoy it x

Great for getting started. You might be a bit achy but your body needs time to get used to your new exercise.

Just go slow and slower again if needed and remember to drink lots of water per day and not just on run days about 2-3 litres it really helps.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊

Brilliant. Well done. That 1st one is so tough.

Good luck for the next one. Let us know how you get on.

Ankle circles are good, plus lots of dynamic (rather than stationary) stretching before you start. Make sure you don’t run on consecutive days. You’ll love it!
