I’m on week 8 now which I really can’t quite believe. The build up has worked well for me until this week. I have pain in my thigh muscle.

Hi everyone, it’s nice to be part of this as au don’t feel like a ‘runner’ even though i’m on week 8. The build up has worked well for me and I love playing music whilst running. I do have pain in my thigh muscle this week but I think it’s because I didn’t have a rest day. It’s surprising what a difference that makes. Keep warm today folks. Xx

You're doing great and you've just answered your own post. Rest days are so important as your body recovers on this day so you can do it all over again. Always have a rest day as you don't want an injury that can undo all your great work. 😊😊

Thank you so much for the support, seems obvious now but it’s surprising what a difference rest days make. Does that mean I can rest in bed, ha ha!

Rest days have to happen, we ache a bit now running for longer times and at that week we found slowing down helped but our slow was still faster than our first few weeks
