Hey guys hope you are all well, just thought I’d pop in to see how you’re all getting on. It’s only been just over a week but things move so quick around here, so many success stories in my small hiatus, congratulations to all those achievers 🥳 For those of you finding it tough, keep at it, I promise it’s worth it in the end.

I’m managing to keep my runs going, just about, it’s felt so tough keeping my focus out there in my own thoughts. I think everything has been sorted, so it’s just the long journey home next week to say goodbye. Still feels very surreal, I suppose that will change when I get there though. I’ve been sorting through old photos today at the request of my brother, I have a lifetime of memories, but somehow they just don’t seem enough right now 😐

Thanks for all the love and support you guys have shown me this past week, you’re all amazing ❤️

Absolutely amazing that you have managed to keep up with the runs! They can be your sanctuary and ‘me’ time.

Glad to hear that bit by bit you’re getting through this tumultuous and very sad time. Keep your chin up DTay, you have family and the forum for support ... I see your runs on Strava .. well done in keeping with the running ... hopefully over time the runs can be a time to reflect and think on the good times.

You’ve done really well keeping up with your runs as that must have been hard but I’m sure it has helped to do that. Sometimes jotting down any memories that pop into your mind like in a diary or a scrapbook can help and can be nice to look back at. Good luck for next week 🌻

Glad you are managing to make your way through this very difficult time and finding some peace and solace in your running.

I hope everything goes smoothly next week and you give your mum the send off she deserves. All your running buddies on here will be thinking if you I'm sure.

Safe journey and look after yourself

Diane

I’d missed your post, just looked to see how you’re getting on and found it. As said by instructor57, in time you will adjust, don’t rush to get there. Brilliant that you are still doing the runs. 🌟
