After the soaking I got on Monday today was a beautiful dry autumn day . Perfect conditions for a run.
A few months ago I bought another pair of Asics trainers but I was having a few problems with them due to going up a half size . Anyway on that day I had to choose between them and another pair. The other ones were a size 7 and fitted great but I thought I should stick with asics.
Realising I couldn't continue with trainers that were causing problems I bought the other pair and got £40 off.
Ran in them today and they're great, no pain no slipping.

I tried on a vomero and they are very lovely. Dearer than Pegasus though which is what I plumped for I think they are a bit wider in the toe box than Pegasus too.
Great new pair of shoes for you Buddy34, I am so glad to hear from you that you enjoyed your run pain free.
This morning I ran my 4th 10K around Broadwood Loch, time was 72.13, a little slower than my PB of 69.23 when I ran my 3rd 10K on the exact same route, I agree with you that this morning was a wonderful day for a run, nice and cool, keep running in those new shoes without pain.
Sorry Buddy, today was my 4th 10K, not 3rd. good luck for your 7K next Monday, still not sure if I will be at Drumpellier on Saturday, I hope to be but with the threat of rain or even snow I'll have to decide a little nearer the time.
As of this year they have started holding a fireworks display at Drumpiellier lochs instead of Dunbeth park . It's a shame as the place is full of wildlife 🦌🦌
They had to change the venue for the fireworks because of the electric railway being so close to where the fireworks were in Dunbeth Park, they would affect the electricity in the lines and no trains would run hence the fireworks being held at Drumpelliier
Fireworks are more powerful than in recent years, I am sure the wildlife at Drumpelliier would get a fright but would survive, the display in Cumbernauld that I was at took place near a very wooded area with a lot of wildlife, they would get a fright with all the bangs but none died.
Yes Fabulous450, at 5K I was in time for just under 70 minutes but my pace slowed a little in the second 5K part, my 4th 10K, probably the last until next year in the spring, now I will be running 5Ks for the next couple of months, including of course parkruns😊🏃🏾
Good to hear you’ve sorted your footwear as they are fundamental to your running & your continued enjoyment. Good luck on your the run, you’ll probably smash your PB now that you’re not worrying about your feet 😊👍
