First run in Orlando

Arrived here Saturday, got to the hotel for around 8:30 pm local time, woke up yesterday at 1:30 AM after about 2 hours sleep and was wide awake but too tired to run.

A couple of colleagues and myself went to have a look at the conference center and 20000 steps later we were back in the hotel, so roughly 15k in total.

I had a conversation with Mrs LeeU who has now completed week 7, covering 2 miles in the process, so I'm proud of her for that.

Woke this morning at 2:30 and managed to drop back off until just after 5, threw on the running gear, grabbed the Adtershokz I picked up in the airport and headed out.

I started off too fast, not as fast as I used to and after 1.3 mile of what seemed like running through warm, damp toilet paper I had to slow it right down, switching to a slow running/jogging mix.

Completed the 3 mile course I'd mapped out and head for a shower.

I'm all ready for a long day of presentations and breakout sessions with lots of steps in between.

Happy running everyone

Hi Mr LeeU. Is it still warm in Orlando, great you got out for a run and Mrs LeeU is running on her own. Enjoy the rest of your day 😊😊

Warm and humid, was about 16-18 degrees this morning, hence the running through warm damp toilet roll.

Great effort with jet lag and well done mrs LeeU. Beware that first sprint, feels good at the time but payback always comes later😉
