If you’d asked me in March if I was going to write this post I’d have laughed. But here I am. Wait for it.... I’ve graduated!!
I even went the extra mile, or should I say the extra kilometre. I keep running for another 8 minutes to get to 5k. I’d been doing 4 k in 30 minutes up until today but I wanted my final run to be special.
I really wanted to get fit before I turned 50 and I’ve done it with 2 months to spare 😀🥳

I was about to say at this time in the morning then looked at the click - yay go for it, I'll think of you as u get down on hands and knees sanding the skirting boards
Congratulations on graduating in style. I can hear your happiness in your post Now to enjoy some post graduation consolidation runs - but do be careful extending your running time or distance (don't forget the 10% rule); being on the injury couch is no fun, so do all you can to protect yourself as you progress. Congratulations again.
Well done! 🎉 it’s a great program isn’t it. My aim too is to get fit for 50 and I’m hoping to graduate this week, only one run left. For someone who struggled with 60 seconds in July I’m gobsmacked that I can keep going for 30 mins now. It’s crazy!
