Can you loose 3 stone very slowly and be left with a toned body?

I'm just noticing that my love handles are getting smaller. Is it inevitable that I'll end up with saggy skin?

Mmm, this is a question I've asked myself a few times. The faster you lose weight the more chance you have that you will get some saggy skin, you need to allow your skin time change too, I've deliberately tried to slow my weight-loss due to the fact I've lost over 4 stone since May.

There is, obviously, a chance that you may end up with some loose skin, if I end up with that then I'll try to stay at a weight that doesn't leave it looking like jelly or like it's just hanging.

Skin takes about a year to catch up with weight loss and i suspect as we get older some of it never quite tightens up, but i’d rather be toned with a few wrinkly bits than not, i have lost little weight but three and a half inches off my waist since i started running and my saggy tum i’m proud of because it means more toned muscles underneath,

That's what seems to be happening to me. Thank you for replying.

The older you are the less elastic your skin.

I lost 4 stone 9 lbs and was left with loose skin on my belly and arms I didn’t really care as I just wanted the weight off

I started C25k towards the end of my weight loss journey but ditched another stone by running regularly and eating healthily I’ve toned up some of the flab round my middle but it took time. I was late 50’s. I’m over 60 now but have kept running

As you lose weight you can see you have muscles 😃 Do your running, do some weights and swimming etc and firm your abs I think running hills is one of the best abs shredders there is 🏃‍♀️

Good luck with everything 😃👍💪

Thank you for replying. I'm loving the running and it does feel good as my body is starting to change.
