Oodles of Mud

Marple Parkrun after days of rain is mud on a scale that covers you. My running shoes and I have just been through the shower. Now for omelette breakfast.

I nearly stayed in bed, but so glad I went now it's done and I'm feeling great. Shoes are drying.

Happy Parkrun day everyone.

Same for Cheadle Hulme. Could try bog snorkelling with a little more rain. My shoes and socks are still on the front doorstep.

It's the first time I've taken my running shoes in to the shower with me!

Isn't it great when you think ' oh I could just stay in bed ' then you go out and run and in tough conditions by the sound of it and then you're so pleased you did it. Hope you enjoy your omelette 😊🥚🥚

We have just been to Clevedon Salthouse Fields parkrun. No mud, well maybe a little bit on one small corner of the park circuit. But it was lovely alongside the Marine Lake and along the promenade. Cold but sunny.

Good run for you today BTP, I ran my 8th parkrun this morning, it wasn't so much muddy but there were hundreds of small puddles, it was more a case of JUMP. AND. RUN parkrun, a bit like the long and triple jump at a sports event, after all that jumping and running my time was 33.15 😊🏃🏾

Hope you are both dry now! Sounds like you had fun despite/with the mud :-)

Thanks Baddie. Our local parkrun went ahead as the river chose to stay where it should be
