I did it!!! Yay!!! ππββοΈ I ran for 8 minutes ...twice in fact!
Iβm so pleased I shared my wobble with everyone on Tuesday....your posts of encouragement were in my head as I set out to complete W5R2 this morning. I made a conscious effort to slow myself right down. I listened to a podcast rather than music, hoping Iβd get absorbed and therefore distract myself from thinking about how much time was left in each burst. This strategy really worked for me and the first 8 minute burst didnβt feel more difficult than running for 5 minutes. I found the second 8 minutes harder, but I was absolutely thrilled to finish it. Onwards and upwards!
