Hi all first post for me I am 63 and started Cto5k with my daughter. Tonight in the pouring rain we completed our 25 min run and feel so proud that I have stuck absolutely to the plan and really feeling the joy now.

Well done it’s such a fabulous feeling of achievement for us 60+ group especially I think! It’s especially great when you can get fit with family. My son is keen but he lives in Cardiff. My daughter is too busy...and it’s her idea if hell😏

Congratulations - it is a great feeling when you finish!!! I find rain not soooo bad but hate running against the wind! I am 64 and finished C25k in the summer and it has changed my life - has helped losing weight. My son who needs to lose weight, regularly visits at weekends to go to gym etc and does his batch cooking and it is really good to have someone to share and understands what you are doing.

You and your daughter enjoy the rest of your journey - well done 👍

Great for getting to wk7, both of you. Just keep doing as you are . Remember to keep well hydrated about 2-3 litres per day and not just on run days and remember to stretch after every run. Well done to you both 😊😊

Sharing running endorphins with family is the best! I’m 65 and getting back into it after a few years off (and a few kg on) - away from home at the moment and can’t wait to start back running with my daughter-in-law who shared my original C25K journey about 12 years ago.

Well done, you are inspiring me to keep going
