Week 7 run 2 done. Planning first park run.

The run went well this morning with the exception of the tree that had fallen across the path overnight. I can’t say I am enjoying the actual running itself although I feel I am running within myself. What I do enjoy is completing the run, it gives me a buzz for the rest of the day.

I am now feeling confident I can complete the programme and have started planning to do the Exmouth park run as my graduation run.

The only worry is after each run my right Achilles’ tendon feels tender. It is fine again the next morning and ready to run after my day’s rest. Is this normal or is it something to worry about?

Just take your runs slowly, hopefully that way your Achilles tendon should not bother you too much, good luck for your Exmouth parkrun which is your graduation run. 🏃🏾 👍

Great on completing wk7r2 it's a great feeling. So exciting it will be doing parkrun for your graduation run. As for any pain be careful , extra rest days may be needed. Good luck 😊😊
