Does anyone know the logic behind week 5 and why it’s durations are set out that way? Seems a big jump and I’m scared! First run done but second two look tricky. Funny how now I’m starting to run the doubts are creeping in...

That'll make it clearer!

Don't worry, it's just your very own gremlins making a last ditch attempt to get you back to the sofa!

You can do it, don't doubt it 👍🏻😁💪🏻

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

If you do a search for W5R3 then you will find hundreds of posts like yours, but you will also find just as many, if not more from runners who could not believe what they had just done by completing that run.

It is the shortest workout since W3.

You can do this.

Enjoy your journey.

Who knew??? In a program that gets you running for 30 minutes in 9 weeks... you run for 20 minutes in week 5. You are ready for this!

You can already run 20 minutes with a break in between. So believe that you’re ready to run the full amount none stop. You can do it 🏃‍♀️

Not sure if you have done run 2 yet but u managed it at first time of asking. Was hard though. I am trying to work out a flat/downhill route for run 3. May do run 3 a few times and try to add upward slopes
