My friend and I are now running 30minutes,covering 3.7k on average. Absolutely delighted πŸ˜€ But not sure if we should try speed up or run for longer to achieve 5k? Loving the running πŸ’•

That is great and you should be delighted :) I am definitely a tortoise and plod along slowly for the 28 mins of week 8 however once I graduate and get a few weeks of consolidation runs under my belt I plan on adding a few minutes each week to one of my runs in the aim of eventually running for longer.

Good luck and I say if you are happy running for 30 mins then just keep running for 30 mins, if you want to go for longer then do it :)

Have you graduated?

This is the guide to post C25K running healthunlocked.com/couchto5... that I send to graduates. It contains advice on how to move on, including how to move up to 5k, if you are not yet there.

Read the guide and after consolidation runs the world is your oyster! Well done for getting this far :)

I am possibly the slowest runner ever. I like to run past traffic jams just to make me feel like I am not quite so slow! πŸ˜‰

I don’t think it matters though so long as you get out there and do it. I have no illusions that I will ever be Usain Bolt. Do what works for you and compare yourself to a month ago, rather than anyone else.
