That is wonderful news that your cholesterol is much lower than it used to be.

Many years ago long before I began C25K my cholesterol was higher than it should be, I changed my diet, the doctor gave me low dosage Satin, I am still on them and hopefully with a better diet and all the exercises I do, including running my cholesterol shouldn't be too high.

One of the reasons I started C25K is my cholesterol levels so this is very inspiring news. During a health check a month ago mine was slightly raised, not enough to need medication however as my father died at 47 of a heart attack it is a concern.

I have lost the weight and maintain a healthy diet and i have been stopped smoking for 11 days so hoping that when i get it checked the next time i will see positive results.

Thank you we are thrilled that’s both of us within the normal range

I never associated “normal” with “runner” but I’ve learned the errors of my thinking now!

You are quite right there is nothing really normal about runner’s, people hearabouts look at us with askance but there is no denying we are fitter and more toned than we were at the beginning and we can breath deeper as well as being able to blow longer clearer notes on my sax 🎷

I love the sound of a sax... good to hear running helps with that too.
