Hope you are well after your transplant. Just go slow and slower again, it is possible. Make sure you are well hydrated 7 days a week not just on run days.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊

If you are really struggling perhaps you are not ready to start running, get

advice from your doctor when you can start, if he gives you the all clear, take all the runs particularly slow and steady 🏃, good luck. 👍

Hope you are doing well after your transplant and good on you having the determination to start this cto5k program. Assuming you had the medical go ahead to start running then relax, don’t push yourself to far to fast. Listen to the podcasts. Nowhere does it say how far or fast you should go so take it easy and listen to your body. Take it a day at a time, if you need extra days rest or to repeat a day then do this and pat yourself on the back for having the determination to start each session. Good luck, be kind to yourself.

Slow down.

welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing, stretching after every run and many other topics.

Enjoy your journey.

I restarted my running journey after major abdominal surgery and just took it really slow and listened to my body. Your body is healing and that must take priority. Our lovely Realfoodieclub may have some more specific advice having been a donor for her husband a few years ago.
