First post here and first week completed. Currently doing all sessions on a treadmill due to balance problems (feel safer with something to grab if necessary). W2R1 due today Wish me luck! 😬

Well done, that’s brilliant! Maybe as you get stronger the balance problems will ease enough to run outside, but if not, running is running wherever! Hope it goes well today 🏃🏼‍♀️

I do my running on a treadmill due to arthritis in my feet, but it all counts as far as I'm concerned.

Well done to you, keep going.

Thanks for the link. Some v.useful info there! Although it has just dawned on me that I’m much more keen to read than run 🤣. Memo to self - get off the couch!

Running on a treadmill is still running. I did most of the programme on a treadmill. If you put the incline setting on 1, it better mimics running outside

Thanks for the tip Cath400. I’ll definitely try that 👍

Enjoy it. I do my running on a treadmill. I don’t really like outside running, so I’m sticking with it. I did a couple of outside runs when I was on holiday last week and couldn’t keep as focussed. Run how you want to!

I did C25K and Bridge to 10K on a treadmill, then transitioned outside when the pollen count dropped.

I have my incline on 1.5 and I love my treadmill

Outside is very different and a bit harder in certain ways but it's all running

Ooo that’s interesting Backintime. Did you do C25K on 1 incline and the B210K at 1.5 inc or has it always been set to 1.5? Is there much difference?

backintimeGraduate

It's always been at 1.5, mine doesn't go any lower, so I don't know if there's any difference, sorry

I do my incline on 2.5 all the time. No science around it other than it was ‘one up’ on the visual grid of the treadmill. Feels weird to do it without an incline now.

I am doing all of mine on a treadmill as its super hot where I live, plus Im ginger. Ginger plus sun are not friends. I think all is ok, as long as you are moving, and improving :
