First post here and first week completed. Currently doing all sessions on a treadmill due to balance problems (feel safer with something to grab if necessary). W2R1 due today Wish me luck! 😬
Treadmill Training : First post here and first... - Couch to 5K
Treadmill Training
Great, you've completed the first week. C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊
You have done the hard bit.. Starting... Just stick to the plan and keep slow and steady you will see the results.. Well done good luck with ur next run
Well done, that’s brilliant! Maybe as you get stronger the balance problems will ease enough to run outside, but if not, running is running wherever! Hope it goes well today 🏃🏼♀️
I do my running on a treadmill due to arthritis in my feet, but it all counts as far as I'm concerned.
Well done to you, keep going.
It all counts indeed! Please do read the guide to the programme for maximum benefit!

Thanks for the link. 😁👍
Running on a treadmill is still running. I did most of the programme on a treadmill. If you put the incline setting on 1, it better mimics running outside
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Enjoy your journey.
Enjoy it. I do my running on a treadmill. I don’t really like outside running, so I’m sticking with it. I did a couple of outside runs when I was on holiday last week and couldn’t keep as focussed. Run how you want to!
I did C25K and Bridge to 10K on a treadmill, then transitioned outside when the pollen count dropped.
I have my incline on 1.5 and I love my treadmill
Outside is very different and a bit harder in certain ways but it's all running
It's always been at 1.5, mine doesn't go any lower, so I don't know if there's any difference, sorry
Keep going you have support
I am doing all of mine on a treadmill as its super hot where I live, plus Im ginger. Ginger plus sun are not friends. I think all is ok, as long as you are moving, and improving :
