Today, my daughter and I ran a half marathon for a charity very close to our hearts.
In 2016, my daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia. She started couch to 5k in January this year. We trained when we could and gradually increased our distance after graduating. Today our soft shoe shuffle finally paid off.

Hi Kirble, what an amazing and emotional journey for you both. Congratulations on a huge acheivement today.
I have been looking at your previous posts, and see that like so many of us the c25k program together with the support and encouragement of this forum lay behind your success. That said, it was your legs and determination that carried you through that HM to the finish line and I hope this inspires everyone who sees it.
Such a lovely photo of you both, one to treasure.😊xx
