Great north run

So I finally took the plunge at the weekend and did the great north run half marathon. I ran/walked an average of 14.5 mins per mile.

The following day it was very difficult to walk as I aggravated a hip injury from 11 years ago but by Wednesday I was completely fine

I think I will stick with 5-10Ks for now though...

Well done! That must have been tough for you but you did it. You must feel very chuffed about that!

Glad to hear that you are recovering from the aches and pains now. It usually takes a day or so ☺

I didn't expect to run the entire course. But I knew I could walk/run it. Still, I was pretty emotional at the finish line as it dawned on me that i had actually completed.

Thank you for your kind words misswobble
