Run before work

Tomorrow is a long day at work and I want to do w2 r2

I am aiming for 630 before breakfast

I won’t have time when I get home

Hopefully all will be good

I’m worried already about what happens to evening runs when the clocks change and nights are dark earlier too.

Can we run in the dark?

There is a few people who run in the dark on here and I've heard them talking about a head torch for running. I'm sure someone who uses one will answer you 😊

Hi, I switched my route for running in the dark so that I stick to main roads. I also bought a lightweight reflective vest, they’re quite cheap in Sports Direct. The weekends I run during the day and then I enjoy the more scenic routes. The nice thing about the dark evenings is it’s generally a lot cooler!

We can do whatever we like! As long as it's within the law!! Be safe. Be seen. 👀

I too will be doing W2R2 at 6.30am tomorrow. I think I will change my route to the main roads once it starts getting dark. Good luck for tomorrow

Over the years I’ve run a lot in the dark, just be a bit more careful about where you’re putting your feet! There are various headtorch reviews online, but if you’re on lit roads you’re probably OK without one.
