Was doing quite well and managed to get up to week 6 run 1 and realised I’d done something to my Achilles heel. It’s taken 2 weeks to stop hurting. Should I restart week 6 or go to run 2.

As you think you have hurted yourself. Just go out and try wk6r2. Go really slow as you've been injured . Any pain just stop😊😊
Achilles are tricky things. I suffered for over a year with mine.
I’d recommend an abundance of caution. You’ll hate me but I’d recommend running W1r1 for a few weeks to keep the Achilles moving but not over-doing it. If you are having trouble with your Achilles you’ll be needing to build a lot of daily stretches into your life. Don’t sit for more than 1 hour at a time. Get the Achilles rehabilitated before running too much.
Ankles are notoriously slow to heal, the Achilles especially... I’m with MarkyD on this one. Keep it gentle and short for a little while. I’d had got up to 11k runs when I damaged my ankle last November while walking and lost a month of running... I came back with half mile runs and built back up slowly, which was frustrating but preferable to overdoing it and being out for months.
Well I rested up for 3 weeks and then did a mile on Monday just to make sure everything was ok. Managed to complete week 6 run 2 with no pain so hopefully I am on the mend properly. Thanks for all the advice guys and girls much appreciated
