New Running Bra!

Don’t panic, no photos here! 😂.

Just wanted to share my experience in case it’s helpful to anyone, particularly those just starting out

When I started C25K I really struggled to breath and whilst it was 90% fitness related I did find my bra was also part of the problem. An ill fitting bra can also hinder your ability to breath particularly if it’s too tight!!’

Anyway, I treated myself to a new one and tried it out this morning. The difference to my regular one is an additional clip between the shoulder blades which did seem to improve my posture a little, opening up my chest and easing my breathing a bit.

I’d love to report that it helped me run faster but sadly not, however, it did make the run more comfortable.

Just thought it was worth sharing as anything that makes you more comfortable and likely to get off the Couch is a good thing. I obviously can’t promise it will help but this was my experience.

Happy running everyone!

I bought two shock absorbers as they make me feel more confident in my run. The last thing I wanted were my bits and bobs wobbling about too. A good sports bra does help. 🏃‍♀️

Yes that’s the one I got, the running one. I really like it. Might get another.

Well worth it in the long run. Pardon the pun. 🙂

Yes definitely a good sports bra really helps . Stops too much bouncing around 😂😂

Indeed, a black eye definitely wouldn’t help with the running!! 😂

Yes - a good sports bra is a must!

I sometimes have to have help to get out of mine afterwards though!!🤣

Yes they can be tricky. My friend can’t get in or out of hers without her husband’s help 😊
