Two Virtual Runs down and one to do, I set out once again, Zombies Run keeping me entertained in-between my music. A normal run.
Except...I got halfway up a short hill, keeping a nice steady pace, when it suddenly struck me that my chest was...not quite achy but definitely more uncomfortable than before.
Weird, i thought, and continued on to the top, but when the discomfort kept up, ..I took a quick look down my shirt to see if I could work out what was going on and, to my horror, the sweater-kittens were bouncing around, more or less unrestrained, I may as well have gone out without my bra on because there was actually space in my trusty sports bra for them to do so.
Now, I have lost two and a half stone since May (joined Weight Watchers and combined it with my running) and yes, the cups of my 'normal' bras were half-full, prompting the compulsory purchase of something smaller and nicer looking, but this?
This is betrayal of the worst kind! My sports bra has been there through (literally) thick and thin, the last few years, it's never let me down in the hottest or coldest weather, the slowest or fastest runs, but now even on the last set of clips and pulling the shoulder straps as tight as they can possibly go is not enough to make it fit right.
Woe unto me, I had to power walk the rest of the run, and now my sports bra sits, fate-undecided, in the washing basket while I work out what to do (buying a new one is not an option, by the way, I'm still losing weight)
