did wk7.3 yesterday smashed it

previous run a minute short of 25 min. do others find some days it harder to do what you've done before?

any ideas what to do after week 9?

1/2 marathon may be a dream at 65.

was thinking running two times a week for 30 mins.

ideas welcome

I use a mix of 1 long slow run, 1 shorter but faster run and 1 other run (may be interval, may be hills or slow run again).

I always aim for 3 runs per week unless I'm too tired or ill.

The aim is a sub 40 minute 5k and eventually 10k.

Why would a h/m be dreaming at 65? I can guarantee you there will be plenty of 65++++ doing them.

Great job on week 7. You have plenty of time to think about where you want this to go. When I started running 5k was a dream, if you want to do a HM then it’s doable... just take time to consolidate after C25K and then progress up the distances gradually. We may not be as fast as we could have been in our 20s, but distances are possible with the right planning.

Enjoy week 8.
