Struggling to speed up

I recently completed cto5k, graduating in June, whilst running on my treadmill at 5kph.

I decided to attempt it again running at 6kph but I'm struggling to get past the 20 minute mark. Other than repeating until I make it does anyone have any thoughts/tips of how I can make it there?

This sounds like a great idea l might do this. I have one run left to graduate and wasn't sure what to do next

Get outside maybe... the longer runs build up distance and eventually speed:)

That’s a big jump in pace. Try 5:20 rather than jump straight to 6.

The recommendation in the guide to post C25K running healthunlocked.com/couchto5... is to spend 75-80% of your time at a nice easy conversational pace and only push speed on the remainder.

Interval Training.

Fartlek training.

Hill Training.

Running further, slower.

All will help you increase your running pace. Ironically, trying to run faster for 30 minutes is not the way to train to run faster.
