Ankle still tricksie. Spent £20 on a support that helped I think.... plus more ice and rest. Shopping this morning saw massage ball set. Took home... paid for obvs... and ran foot firmly over ball. Clink clank clunk, sooooooo much better. So excited a little pee popped out, not gonna lie. Up early tomorrow to gently test it out. Woop woop, back in the game 🏃🏻‍♀️🙌🏻🏃🏻‍♀️

Aldi's got me out running in the first place. 😉

6 weeks ago, I was looking to up my fitness, but without spending any more money (bought an exercise bike a few months ago, and my first pair of trainers in 30+ years, as cycling in slippers isn't recommended I found ☺).

On the Saturday I was reading a thread on MSE called C25K (never heard of it before) but thought I could try it, even although I hated running at school. Realised, after a bit of googling, I'd be looking at spending about £40 on a half decent "running" bra, plus approx £100 for proper running shoes, so that put paid to that idea...

Next day I drove to Aldi's for my peppermint and liquorice teabags, and any other crap I could find a use for, or chuck in a cupboard never to be seen again, in the middle aisles...

Couldn't believe it when I spotted a high intensity "running" bra in my size for £6.

Annoyingly they were out of stock in the tea bags, but I was sure fate must've got me into the shop in the first place.

6 weeks on I've bought proper running shoes, headphones, compression socks, another couple of [much more expensive 'shock absorber' branded bras, purely because Aldi sold out and I wanted more], baseball caps to stop my glasses getting wet in the rain, an arm pouch to carry my phone/keys...

As you can see, running has been a free exercise for me. 🤣

Still, it was my £6 bargain bra that got me out there in the first place. 😉

Brilliant 😊 I spent 1.99 on a pack with water bottle, running belt, lock laces and led arm bands. Bargain. That paved the way for Garmin and Saucony runners but hey, girls gotta run! 🤣
