Absolutely cock a hoop I managed the 20 min run in wk 5 and thought this staged run in wk 6 of of 2 x 5 mins and one 8 mins should be a doddle.

No way! I completed it ok, but can’t understand why an 18 minute run (in total) should feel so much harder that the straight 20 minute run in week 5?

Any sports specialist out there who can explain?

I think the walking intervals make wk6 r1 and r2 harder . But who are we to question . All I know is the plan does work .Good luck 😊

I think lots of people have your experience. I know I did but I can't explain why! 😊

Yesterday I completed wk6 run2 and contrary to the last run, I found this one my easiest run yet!

Very odd, as I felt tired and not really up for it. But once I hit the road, it all changed and quickly got into a groove.

The run flew by.

Now I’m wondering how run 3 will go.
