Guys I need your help...

How do I negotiate running up hills with out using too much energy and my muscles in my calves not tightening up??

I always try inclines but end up stopping because I feel tired. On the flat I’m fine though I can still have some calf muscle issues. My cardio is pretty good I just want to mix up my running routes but always end up opting for pretty flat routes which means running mostly the same route!!

Thanks in advance xx

I run two hills twice a week , have been doing it for 5 months now. For me I just go slow and really concentrate on my breathing . I think it just takes practice . I hope this helps 😊

To learn to run up hills you have to run up hills.........

Stretching straight after every run pulls out contractions in your muscles, avoiding carrying them into the next run.

I run hills a lot. You can go very slowly, taking small steps. Rest when you need to.
