First 5k distance

So only yesterday I gave myself a goal of reaching 5k. Can’t believe I did it. I was aiming for 33 minutes but felt good so carried on. So happy 😁

That's absolutely brilliant Sp81 ...I've been running just about 2 years now and the fastest I've done 5k is 32 minutes but my average time is the same as yours....remember, it's not about the time or the distance...its about enjoying the time you're running

Thank you both. Some girls I work with have asked me to join them on our local Parkrun. I wasn’t sure I could do the distance. Now I know I can I’m going to give it a go.
