Good morning guys, need a bit of motivation as I’ve been told that after my third CSection there’s no running for me until August and I’ve got to phase my return via Couch to 5K.
It was C25K that got me into this running malarkey in the first place and prior to my CSection I was not an expert runner by any means (again, mostly 5ks) but I’m really missing just being able to pop my trainers on and bust out a cheeky 20min run.
Are any of you guys in the same boat; having to restart the programme after illness or injury put you right back to square 1?

I’ve sort of been in the same boat with stopping etc due to injury or having a cold. Then struggling to get back to it. Although I do love running. I hate not getting out there every other morning. I’m glad it’s not just me.
I had 3 months off last summer after surgery. I'm sure you'll be fine with an abbreviated version of C25K. Running will be fine. Just be careful picking up stuff (like kids, shopping, pushchairs etc.)
I've done the program 3 times because I had to stop on account of knee pain every few months. I'm going to get back to running again soon after my longest break – 10 months. I'm looking forward to hitting milestones again – first 3-minute run, first 5-minute run, first run with runner's high...each one is a victory, no matter how small, and I'm excited to achieve them all again!
