Windy out the back again 👀

Why is it that the head wind that you battle against at the beginning of your run - so strong it took my breath away a couple of times - doesn’t seem to help you go faster on your way back?

On the plus side, it’s not often I get to run straight into the wind one way, and have it behind me on the way back - I’m normally getting buffeted from all sides, so it doesn’t matter which way I run.

One long interval on my plan today- I know it’s a bit hard to tell what with the long downhill upping my pace on what should have been a slower section🤦‍♀️ Also? I really thought I’d won the battle I had with my hind brain about it wanting to catch up with the runner ahead of us when I was nearly home, but apparently not 🤣

(i have often run along the road at the end to make up an odd 0.2k and it is really not very far)

I tend to stop my Garmin at the end of the run itself, then start my cool down walk and stop the app on my phone when I get to 5k.

You’re right, it isn’t far 😊

Well done and no never noticed the wind helping at all , if it's behind me or in front I just find it a nuisance 😂😂
