Poor choice of day for this run so I'd just like to winge and then I can move on. It was w4r1 so I was feeling a bit daunted by 5mins before I even set off. Then I realised it was park run day so I chose a different route so I didn't either get in the way or feel a bit useless. Only to find there was a food festival on and park run had relocated to the empty end of the park. So I ended up in the woods which are muddy and a bit overgrown and still I found lost park runners who were off course but needing to pound past me in the search for the real course (75yds right on the tarmac path hmmph). So I have muddy trainers, wet feet and bramble scratches - pah!
On the upside, apart from one dead stop collision, I made it! Though even slower than usual. π
