It must be the mid summer vibes from nearby Stonehenge or a touch of Moomin Midsummer madness but me and the Dog Child graduated tonightππππ
Thanks to everyone who supported us. I am walking towards the lights shining from the podium reflected from those polished medals and breathing the heady aroma of the Brasso fumes emanating from the robes of the High Priestess Old Floss, her trusted acolyte Iannoda and their other apostles, my great teachers in this 9 week Odyssey.
If this chronically unfit, arthritic, bi polar, overweight, (according to the doctor obese), middle aged woman can do it, so could anyone with the support of you, my forum friends and vrbs. Whenever I was worried there was always help, support and advice at all stages and I am sure it will continue all through my running. Thanks so much

Congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 and graduating, love the way you described your graduation run with 'the dog child'.
To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE π next to your username leave a message on the June graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators (one of them is Oldfloss who you call "The High Priestess") that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated π π π.
Well done! Youβve done really well! Love the little speech - just wish I could write nice things like that (whenever Iβve tried, whether itβs a card or a post, it always seems to come out ott, so now try to keep to plain & simple) π€ x
I'm feeling that I need to keep at it and when I hit the elusive sweet pace it feels good,I'm hoping that feeling comes more frequently. Congratulations on your graduation, go the Midsummer class ππ
Thank you! I have unfortunately developed a sore knee and so Iβm a bit worried about running on it. Have rested it for a few days and itβs getting better but not sure whether to run on it yet. Think I overstretched it on my last run βΉοΈ. Iβve been injury free all through C25K until now. Too much beginnerβs enthusiasm for my last run I think!!
Thanks π Feeling chuffed and so is the Dog child. Her twin has started wk 1 today so she will be trying to catch up but I have told her about rest days being important. Just need to get her older brother running and I'll have brainwashed the full set π€£
