Thanks everyone for your fantastic messages of encouragement it means such a lot . Committing to this is a big thing for me and I want to follow it through. Can I ask some advice? As a larger lady I'm having trouble getting gear to fit. Don't laugh bought to different brands they seemed fine as soon as I moved they were heading south! Really helps your technique when your holding your draws up with both hands to avoid indency charges !!!

I’ve bought my stuff from Tesco. Their range works well for me in big size and it’s not too expensive either

It’s a great place for encouragement I can’t help with gear though i started the programme in joggers but they slid south so wearing tight leggings they are better for me
Good luck with running and finding something that stays in place

Well done for starting. maybe some regular leggins as bottoms and a regular tshirt to start off with. I'd advise getting some well padded foot wear (gait analysis) to pad out your landing, that's what I did. I had issues on my first runs and ended up with a naked belly in 1C...
The tighter stretchy stuff helps. You want breathable stuff too. Don’t want to feel too sweaty. I wear Lycra leggings, a breathable t shirt and if it’s cool a breathable jacket. Things like cotton I find can make you feel too warm and uncomfortable. Hope this is of some help. 😊

I got my running gear at decathlon, the thinnest full length bottoms and a t-shirt, and I use men shoes as they are designed to support more weight. I've also got some tops from curvissa

Maybe see if you can find bottoms that have a drawstring so they don't fall down good luck 😊😊
