Hello everyone, just started my C25k journey (on W1) and joined this forum. After 15-20 years of not doing anything physically active (and aside from some rugby in my 20s, not being that sporty) was amazed to discover how much I’m enjoying this and the amount of positivity/energy you get from it. Was diagnosed as borderline Type 2 Diabetic five years back and am a bit of a chunky monkey so real health incentive for me to stay the course and build the C25k habit!

Anyway, great to read all the positive/inspiring posts and feeling the sense of community here!

Welcome on board - the lovely administrators will be along soon given you some fabulous links to all you need to know about the programme.

Take it slow and steady and post here often so we can see how you get along. Good luck and enjoy. It’s life changing x

Welcome. Great job getting started. Running is great for body and mind and has helped many with type 2 or in prediabetic condition. Here’s hoping that it does for you. Enjoy your journey. You can do this.

Well done for getting started on the C25K programme, it's really brilliant. Have you read the 8 Week Blood Sugar Diet by Dr Michael Mosley? Some amazing evidence that it can help to reverse type 2 diabetes, especially if you have only recently been diagnosed. Worth a try?
