Week 8, run 1.. running belt?

Can’t believe I’ve just run for 28 minutes! This plan is sorcery 🧙‍♀️... forgot to take my water (usually carry it) and realised how annoying it is to have to carry something... but could have done with a drink on the way around... I’ve seen these belts with a water holder (+pockets for phone, keys etc)... anyone use one and can recommend?.... or should I not bother?

I bought a running belt during that very warm weather in May, but since summer started at the beginning of June I have not needed to wear it while out runs as I wear a light jerkin with pockets to keep various things like a little water bottle, keys etc, but IF the warm weather comes back, then I will have the running belt on, it does have pockets for those various things you mentioned, you can buy a running belt in a good sports shop.

When it’s cool, then the water is good after the run, but summer is (allegedly) here, so carrying a small amount of water is a good thing. I have one of the bottles I can slip my hand through... £3 in sports direct... and then I don’t have to hold it as such, it’s just on my hand, I soon forget it’s there.

Great running... enjoy the next one.

Decathlon have some good belts that take various types and sizes of water bottles.

I also have a bottle you can put your hand through and the other day I just put my slim running belt through it and so it was held on my waist (at the back). Wasn’t a prob. Just a faff when I did stop for a drink.🤣

Hope you find something that suits 😊
